My first piece of art from 2009 and I'm keeping it!!!

Ethan Van Sciver and I talked through private message last night and we're able to work through the issues that I had. I can honestly say that Ethan and his wife are wonderful people to deal with at conventions. I think that his commissions may have gotten away from him but the end results are always worth it.

In the end better communication on both our parts could have made things a lot easier. I know I've definitely learned from this experience and will use this knowledge when setting up future commissions.

I'm hoping that Ethan doesn't stop doing commissions. That was not my hope or intent. I think it would be a disservice to his fans and to himself.

Awesome news. Glad this could all be worked out. He seems like a good guy that got in over his head workload wise. Now if Joefixit2 can get his commission I will be truly psyched.

Not bad. Not liking how the big A looks though. Skin on lower body and legs look too human.

I'm really glad Ethan and I got to talk things over. Like you said I think Ethan's workload got the best of him and he's only human.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Glad it all worked out. I was impressed that he came and posted on the forum and is making things right! I also hope he continues to do commissions as time allows. It would be a shame if he did not.

I'm glad everything worked out for you Monster.

Any regrets about selling that Deathlok/Cap America commission?

I sure do. I'm hoping the guy I sold it to will take a refund so I can keep it. If not I'm shipping it out tomorrow.

Congratulations on working everything out, it's a beautiful piece...hopefully you'll be able to sort out things so you can keep the deathlok/cap piece too...if the person who bought it is part of this site I'm sure that they'll understand.
