Clay? What's this Wolvie bust?
Hi Clay,
Not sure if you're going to read this but here goes... I've had these Wolvie bust pics saved on my PC for some time. I'm told that you sculpted it. However, I have no memory of this ever being solicited or even seeing them displayed in someone's collection.
What's the history behind this really nice looking piece?
Thanks!

There was one on E-bay a few weeks ago that did not sell, I dony think.
I asked Clay about it and this was his reply...
Hi James-
A LONG time ago I did that piece for myself in bronze. Bowen wanted one and he suggested this for the Doc Savage bust. I'm sure he sold it quite a while ago just as I got rid of the DS bust. It appears to be that bronze and not a knock off.
Best regards,
CSM

The only thing I know about the bronze one is that I'd love to have it in my collection
Here's mine and what Clay's nephew had to say about it.
Clay and his brother Paul hand painted most of the 50 themselves. Some were painted at the factory, I am sure Paul painted yours. They were prototypes for testing a factory in China, hence the different costumes. That is why they are so rare, you better hang on to that one....you may end up retiring on it when Clay retires from sculpting.
