I guess there are some benefits to TBD ES with NRD, SSC gets to gauge the interest level if no one orders you can set a lower ES and not have overstock. I think that happend with movie ThorEx. Look at DestroyerEx Maq ES, it's 500 whereas ThorEx ES is 300 even tho' Destroyer is 1/5 scale, a more minor character and more expensive.

What's amazing with Thor is how low the ES is and it's still not sold out. Then you have other less known characters like Majik and Hydra set at 500?

Now SSC is doing NRD on some regulars preorders which is bogus to me too.

Yeah, I don't blame Sideshow cos it's really hard to gauge ES and interest level, and they have some really bad misconceptions. For instance, they don't think customers care if pieces are 1/5 scale and think by making lesser known character 1/5 scale they will sell better. Very strange. I would have bought Darkchilde and Hydra if they were 1/4 scale, and now we'll probably never see them in that size

I preorder Hydra but I did not like the final product of darkchyde. Its not the legs that was the issue but the design of her sculpted fsce. Fury was another one. If SSC did a PF it would probably only cost $20+ more? That was an easy pass there.

Yeah the prices of some of these 1/5 scale pieces are thru' the roof. I rather get another PF for $20 more instead of Fury for sure. I could understand if his base was really elaborate like Spidey com or he had light up or COH but his base is just a circle.

I agree about Darkchilde, the comic art had a playful grinning cute face while the face on the comiquette just looked like a man.

Good points Fuzzy & VS..

I'm wondering why the ES from the German Paratrooper PF still isn't mentioned. Even the release date is set back from May to August (3 months seem alot to me). Bcs of 'not knowing' retailers already ask spiked prices for this one

I think they should set the ES before hand. Do that for the exclusive and they can leave the Reg, TBD.
