Sideshow (Would you like more collector feedback)
Would you like SS to interact with fans more on seeking fan feedback on choice of character, pose etc much like Bowen does. This does not have to be limited to Marvel but right across the lines.
At times I have to scratch my head on art direction. How do you guys feel.
BTW lets not turn this into a bashing thread. It could be useful feedback for SS.

It would be nice but I just don't know if SS would do it given that they have grown so big. IMO it's not like Bowen stuff is that great to begin with. the time and effort would be too much hassle for SS to deal with. Overall I think SS is doing a great job think they need to change (yet)!

I think they would appreciate constructive feedback and have been receptive to it in the past (the dooku pf comes to mind).

I think that it could only help overall sales of their (Sideshow) products. I think that there would be a lot less cancellation when it's all said and done.

The Bowen stuff is very good and they take constructive fan feedback onboard. The only feedback SS appear to take is whether the piece sells or not. Sure we get some sneaks but we are never asked for opinion.

Thats how I feel too. Its been a long time since they released a piece which hasnt had hate/love reaction. When was the last time that there was overall positive reaction to a piece.
I know some people will seek classic versions but the license must include provision of new versions also and therefore SS are obliged to release these newer versions along with classic (namely PF).

Do we know for a fact that they aren't getting some type of feedback from various people outside of Sideshow? When it comes to licences, I think their feedback is soley based on that company's approval. They go with that.

Well that portrait (colossus) was previewed months ago and the feedback was universal negative yet it wasn't changed. So it appears that those previews are actually pictures taken months if not years before.
