Point is, you can dislike the art direction of that piece, but there is nothing wrong with the anatomy of that statue.

SS rarely does anything with arguable anatomy. That is a low bar for SS. Even when there is something exaggerated, usually there is a reason for it. They are pros in that regard if nothing else.

I just find the most recent Surfer piece to be kind of boring. Its predecessor was better, which shouldnt be possible in this day and age.

But I like plenty of statues other people dont, so as long as you enjoy it, that is the main thing.

This concept art looks great. I pre-ordered the Classic, but I'm super interested in how the Gamma Smash version comes out. In the only pics of the GS it seems that the head sculpt features have been softened a bit. But if they can keep it closer to the more savage look of the concept art and the 3D renders, I may switch my pre-order.
