Thank you Shoo. For all you... do.
Sensational piece. If factory can deliver this it will be one of Prime 1's best statues and yeah maybe the greatest.

Disclaimer. Forps knows nothing about anime/manga etc.

Well, i do not know anything about anime (it always was a childish genre for me, sorry guys), but this sculpt is the ONLY sculpt that struck something in my eye.

The famous "Forps eye".

This is the only anime sculpt that oozes ART, it made me think about POing it although i know nothing regarding the underlying art.

It is artsy.

I dont know if Fist of the North Star has a huge following in the anime world, but if it does, then this is going to be a FUTURE GRAIL.

Mark my words.

Its the 1st anime piece that caught Forps interest and this is telling you all you have to know

Well you also need to know it is an eye watering $1,600 plus overseas shipping.

Still see me ending up with it IF they reproduce the proto which I kinda doubt.

gz33, 1600d plus shipping would be cheap if Fist of the North Star has a huge following. I dont know. I never saw anime or manga (they seemed a bit of childish for me, even when i was a child, lol) and i do not know their following. 500 es is also relatively low.

Ive seen hundreds or even thousands of anime sculpts and i never, EVER, was impressed by a sculpt. This is the exemption, with the new Prime1 Legacy Griffith 1/6 and Guts 1/6 that also seem artsy.

gz33, you and i, have a special "eye". The fact that we both got impressed by an anime sculpt, tells a lot.

If only i knew Fist of North Star popularity, i could easily estimate how high this is going to sell for in the future.

Nevertheless, even as an art piece alone, it is marvellous.

gz33's and Forps' eyes cannot be fooled, lol!

500ES is just for Yuria's extra head reg is TBD but I'd wager the whole lot will be less than 500 ES actually made. FOTN is massively popualr. Akuma is inspired by Kenshiro. Older sure but FOTN is basically right there with DBZ.

Their previous Kenshiros are pretty neglected by collectors though.

Hmm? Not Kenshiro.

Nio...Asura... and Zodd perhaps. Roah, if anything, but that's probably more coincidental.

I can kind of see where you?re coming from on anime appearing to be ?childish? with the appearance of some things, but I?d recommend at least giving it or even manga a try with just reading. There are stories that are actually quite gritty, even this license in particular I?d say is pretty dark in terms of setting and world.
