Oh yeah, the L lenses are pricey. I have 2 so far.

Check out the $ difference on the 50mm (From B&H)

EF 50mm f/1.4 USM - $309.95

EF 50mm f/1.2L USM - $1359.00 !!!!!!


You're pics are pretty sweet. Nice detail. What site are you uploading from? Photobucket always makes my pics look cr@ppy but I only have the free account.

That Alien bust is pretty intense. The detail is incredible. It must be huge and hella expensive too. Could you take a pic with a common object in there for size reference? Maybe a soda can or something?

I use Photobucket for my uploads but I had to upgrade to the Pro because I needed more upload space. It also allows for larger image sizes, definitely worth the $25 for the year.

You're right, the Alien bust has incredible detail, as does the Predator.
