You could always have a piece of plexi-glass cut to place under the glass to help support more weight .

True. I normally just double the shelves for heavier pieces. But honestly, I think it's pointless. It's strong enough to support any statue I own and then some.

I just realized that this experiment may be flawed, Barbarian. Maybe we need to see 70 top shelf, 70 middle shelf, and 70 bottom shelf... ALL AT ONCE! Speaking 4th dimensionally, the weight at the top shelf would be heavier than the weight at the bottom shelf due to gravity.

Oh lord, what manner of death trap would that be when it comes crashing down though!

Haha, why is the "ideal" weight limit so low if you can put so much on?

So it's better to leave the single glass rather than double up?

I don't think it really matters that much at all. It could possibly the straw that broke the camel's back, but you would already have to have so much weight on them, you'd already probably be sweatin' it.

I have no idea why their max weight is so low. I guess they're just being safe... REAL FRIGGIN' SAFE!
