Having just re-watched Resident Evil: Extinction and Afterlife back to back I felt a revisit of the first 2 films were in order. To my surprise I think the most recent installment (Afterlife) is now my favorite. Followed closely by Extinction and then the original.

Resident Evil - 7/10

The truest to the source material of the series. The original definitely has a more confined feel to it than it's predecessors. Enjoyable for what it is... a guilty pleasure action/horror/zombie film.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse - 5.5/10

Easily the worst and campiest of the franchise. The Nemesis is cool and certain aspects are fun but the dialogue and acting are cringe worthy at times. Jill Valentine's scenes in particular. Some of the action sequences are a bit over the top too which is saying a lot for this franchise. Still, it ties the better parts of the series together and for that its still somewhat enjoyable.

I'll give him the first RE (which non of them had anything to do with the game story) was interesting.

I love the RE franchise. It's trashy but entertaining. And I always loved this scene from the original.

I thought that scene was a rip off from the Cube.

I saw the Cube along time ago and don't remember it. If they did do it first, they didn't do it very memorably

Bolt. 7/10. Entertaining Disney children's flick. Some funny laugh out loud scenes. The hamster in the ball was hilarious.

I think they used wires instead of lazers.
