My first proper collection was Simpsons. I had a near 100% complete World of Springfield line from Playmates. I thought they were awesome, they still are but then i found Sideshow. Now im hooked.

Same here. It was McFarlane and Hasbro for me.

I used to buy a lot of model kits (halcyon, etc) from the local hobby shop. Anything scifi I could find. Then started buying McFarlane figures too. Still have boxes of them somewhere in storage. And I used to love to build and race EP / GP RC cars. Had a huge collection of Tamiya, Kyosho, etc . . . Also in storage somewhere

I believe my first statue was Bowen but then I started to collect McFarlanes Spawn figures and that took precedent for a while. Now I scratch my head and say "Why?" Then I saw Mystique PF and was hooked!

I used to collect all Bowen statue, until the price didn't make sense for 1/6th scale statue. Right now, it's mainly SS and a few pieces from Bowen.

I collected Gundam Model kits and a lot of Japanese chogokin figures, the Gundam have gone but Chogokin have stayed.

My first statue was a Bowen and i'll stick with Bowen forever more when it comes to Marvel, i'm a comic fan and no one else does the Comic look like Bowen.

I use Sideshow for Alien, Predator and Movie stuff.

I had no idea McFarlane toys was such a gateway drug around here. For me, there was nothing before SS. I didn't care about statues until I saw the Doom PF at a convention one day.
