Who is Marvel's Fastest Flyer?

We always do "who's strongest"/"who's smartest"/"who's bangin' Darkseid" threads... I figured I'd substitute one of my What If's with a similar question:

Which character is Marvel's current fastest flyer?

DC's is ... Superman (Supergirl?), Captain Marvel (?) or Wonder Woman (my money's on Supes)... right? So...Marvel's is?

He's "surfing".

Thor doesn't fly either; he's throwing Mjolnir, then hanging onto the strap and bein' pulled.

Is there a grey area, here?

I thought of Surfs almost immediately, but.. yeah... hrm...

Well you could add The Runner he's fast also.
I would say Sentry,Gladiator.Hyperion or anyone hit by Hulk.

She flies at the speed of light. I think Quasar is right up there too.
If Nova is using the entire power of the Nova Corps I still don't think he travels at light speed. But he's a quick one too.

Is Photon the old "Captain Marvel"? The African-American lady?

The only thing I've ever seen her in is Secret Wars, though I know she was an Avenger for quite some time. If I'm right.. she's still around?! Where's she been hiding?

I'd say all of your answers are plausible.

Especially that last one.

Sentry's a corpse, though... Bendis can't bring him back, or it would negate his ten years of "build-up" to Siege; some other Momo down the road might figure some way to bring him back, though (please... God.. no).

I've never read Hyperion's Squadron Supreme title; need to rectify that, since it's always spoken of highly.

The Runner's an Elder, right? I was mostly thinkin' Earth-bound characters, but the Runner (especially with his Infinity Gem) would definitely be the fastest. Good call.

The Runner is indeed an Elder of the Universe, AND he has an Infinity Gem.

If you don't want to count all that, then the Silver Surfer is the fastest.
