Could somebody break down the Moore stuff for me?

I was just checking statues on bbts, and I saw that these were being made. Are these from... something, or just original creations, or what? lol I'm just really ignorant about the Moore stuff. I see a chick over on the sponsor add to the right that looks like one of the figures. Anyhow, just curious.

Moore does a lot with the smaller companies (not Marvel and DC) including statues and action figures. In the past he's done Lady Death, Aspen (Fathom), a lot of Top Cow including Witchblade, Darkness, Magdalena and Angelus. He's done Dawn and Dark Ivory and is now doing quite a bit with the Zenescope Fairytale statues like Calie, Alice and Snow White.

I don't know anything about the action figures, but almost all of his statues are in 1/6 scale and usually done in cold cast porcelain. Is this the kind of information you're looking for?

Moore Creations have always been more into the Indie comics. His early and notable repertoire is from Top Cow and Chaos Comics.

He had done action figures for the two companies but also did Ariel of Darkchylde, Heavy Metal and Kabuki action figures. He did an amazing work on Futurama characters as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I believe his latest quest are the Dino-mutant characters and the characters of Zenescope characters. He is experimenting on a cubic styled toys ala mini-mates style... only with his distinctive flair of a sexy lady.

Didn't he also do some marvel pieces (Emma retro, Emma modern, Black Cat retro, Black Cat modern) for the Marvel Premier Collection?

Yeah, and he did a Spider Man (and black variant) and Wolverine back in the day too. Actually, pretty cool statues. He just normally doesn't do DC/Marvel.

Yes he did... but for his Marvel work... I find his Gambit (Creative License) to be the most handsome face version of the character before Sideshow came out with theirs.

This forum still amazes me at the level of knowledge on just about anything comic related.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
