Superprime-Boy?

That sounds dirty.
Thanos has cosmic power on par with the Silver Surfer's. He's no pushover; that's not even taking into account his genius. He doesn't need "time to plan": he's not Batman... he wakes up in the morning nearly indestructible, and he goes to bed the same way (he's a Titan, for one thing).
If the guy was a "one-note" villain, he wouldn't be one of my favorite characters in comics.
SBP couldn't beat Galactus; he technically shouldn't be able to beat the Anti-Monitor either, I would think.. though he schooled the AM when he (AM) was seriously weakened in Sinestro Wars, if I recall correctly.
I'm not doggin' on the character.. it's fun that DC has a "loose cannon" villain running wild in their books, that basically takes the cooperation of everyone to defeat. Hrm... who does that also sound like? Thanos?

Thanos gets bored fighting, though.

These days, he enjoys being left alone, for the most part.
DC and Marvel structure their characters differently from one another, to some degree.. it's tough to judge some of these, but yeah... Thanos and Howard the Duck win this one.
SuperLad-Prime and the Maestro walk hand in hand, off into the sunset, to share their dreams.. and a romantic steak dinner.

If we're talking SBP, then he's destroy Thanos. The Hulk would put up a better fight. Thanos wouldn't have time to devise a plan and in a straight up fight, he'd be decimated.
