Please never think of this as a "remake" of another film. That cr*ppy Stallone film was a joke.

I have fond memories of reading 2000AD when I was growing up. Not sure how popular it was in the US or the rest of the World.

When I have that beautiful statue on display my first point of reference will be the comics which are quite brilliant. Nothing else.

The Stallone film needs to be erased from everyone's memories.....just like in Total Recall See what I did there?

As for this film. I'll reserve "Judgement" for when I see it Damn it, I did it again!

Preview actually looks pretty good to me.

What I am a bit concerned about is the new designer drug storyline. Robocop was a notorious rip-off of Judge Dredd and was the reason there was the delay in making a Judge Dredd movie and the poor choices to vary from the comics made in the Stallone version. It is therefore strange to see them now going with a Robocop "nuke" drug type storyline for this Judge Dredd movie.

--to all those panning the trailer---you should know a few things
--those who have seen the complete film have had NOTHING but positive things to say
--the creator of JD, John Wagner, has seen the film and said "it's everything I hoped it would be"...nuff said
--STOP TROLLING! If the you see the full film and you think it sux, then u have every right to say so...until then, PLEASE keep the "meh"s to yourselves

And a big update from Sideshow: "Judge Dredd is slated to ship this September"

Nice can't wait for the film!

Great news about the ship date. Jerry did say that the JD statue at SDCC was painted by the factory, and he seemed very happy with it. So if they were at that stage at SDCC the new ship date wouldn't surprise me. Can't wait!!
