Of course a gay character having a revelation and going straight

Because you can't have a revelation and go straight. How many of you people out there know a guy who seems gay but is married and everyone says oh but he married. He's gay..... Anyone who is gay that turns straight does so because they are afraid of ignorant and intolerant family, friends and society as a whole.

point he's making is for some random character to just wake up and decide that he's gay is just as unrealistic as some extremly gay person to just wake up and decide he's totally straight now

Honestly, who cares. Both of these companies are a business and in this business they will do whatever it is to create sells.
So if that means making a big deal out of making one of their top Shelf characters Gay then so be it.
Marvel made a black spiderman (That wasn't Donald Glover influenced sadly) and I still didn't buy it.

Have you guys noticed that most media that we like seems to get shifted by what main stream society is into at the time?
Mass effect 3, Street fighter, Dc, Marvel, Most Movies,Community (Used to be one of my favorite shows)etc.
I think it is about that time to watch the movie Equilibrium again.

It's about fundamentally changing a character and PC-ism dictates what is acceptable and what is not.

One way street.

Do you think a minority character will be turned to white anytime soon?

Leave the characters as they were created.

They want diverse characters to champion diversity and acceptance? then create NEW ones.

But that is far too challenging for DC I guess for this.

I know the score, if you challenge this it's your some kind of knuckle dragger against diversity. This is BS.

I've been aware of your views on gays for a long time and you have never had anything supportive or positive to say. It's not about the character that upsets you it's that their going to be gay.
