So for each signature book I've heard that you have to have a CGC representative there at the table when the artist signs it. That must take up a lot of time. Do they charge more for that?

When I wanted to get the books signed, I just brought them to the CGC booth at the con. I told them who I wanted to sign the books. The price for Signature Series is a few dollars more for their tier. And I think it was $5 for each additional signature. Also some artist/writers have their own fee on top of that.
Once CGC has the books and who you want to sign, then they take care of the rest. I didn't go with them to get the signatures.

That doesn't sound as difficult as what i saw. When i was in line waiting to speak with Ed McGuinness another person in line was there to get a book signed and then have it CGC'd and the rep had walked away so he had to go find him again. So few the few extra dollars it sounds like they stand in line for you.

All I did was made sure who was at the con, then they took care of the rest. I guess you can go walk around with them for the signatures, but I didn't have the time to do that.

Some good issues are in your collection. There are a lot of modern comics in your collection too. Did you send these all into CGC or take them to a convention? I really want to try CGC out but the prices are pretty rough.
