To be fair, Julian McMahons portrayal as Doom was decent enough, but was hampered by the fact that he was maskless for like 3/4 of the movie, losing all presence as DOOM when he finally put on the mask.

I am curious too. I have greatly enjoyed GOTG recent runs and adding Ben to the mix sounds like fun, or at least in theory. Let's hope.

I'll continue to get us off topic as I say I have hope also as long as they have the storyline stay away from earth. They are Guardians of the Galaxy, not Guardians of Earth. The stories were always best when they were off doing cosmic stuff, not hanging around and interacting with earth.

Agreed. This bunch shouldn't be anywhere NEAR the Milky Way - unless they are just picking Ben up. Then get outta here

Dr. Doom isn't exactly a complex character. "I am your better. No one is my equal. I will do anything to get what I want. If you live in my zip code you will be obedient or suffer my wrath."
I think someone in Hollywood could easily manage such a character. Just a matter of them choosing to go that route.
