The rooted hair really hurts Sideshow's but other then that its a solid sculpt....and a very dynamic pose. Bowen's is a great piece, other then the a muddled face, but i really like the detail in the "wind blowing" look.....its a tough call on two different scales...apples and oranges really.....but heck they look great displayed together...

I prefer the look of the red SS Elektra. Now if the exclusive was the black outfit I'd have two SS Elektras instead of one.

I agree Zog... I have spent a good amount of time with the one I bought to try and get the hair to come forward to hide the shaved temple look she has going... I got it where I want to now at least

I dislike the faces on both sculpts, and the paint job on the face of the Bowen Elektra I used to have was THE most sloppy job I've ever seen- you could see the pink between the eye and the black that I assume is supposed to be eyeliner, The mouth isn't right, I'm sure it was meant to be enigmatic but just looks constipated, and the seam of where the hair met the face was bad too.

I never owned either of these but from the pics ss clear and easy winner no doubt.

Preordered the ss elektra and I am still waiting for her

Even though I think the hair on the Sideshow is horrible, out of the two it is the superior sculpt.

I really do not care for either of them. I do not collect SS, but out of the ones I have seen this electra one does not seem as good or well done as the others, maybe if I saw it in person I would change my mind. Not big fan of the pose or the babies head she is stepping off of (could be an old man's head).

The BD electra, not one of thier better statues. Face and paint not doing it for me.

But if I had to choose I would go Bowen. It does not bother me as much.
