I absolutely agree as well. It is a fine line but you have to respect history as well as catering to a diverse audience. JS is too established and respected to disregard 50 years of history. If Fox wants to they could offer films that characters like Storm, Bishop, Forge, Sunspot and numerous others star or play a greater role in.

In my opinion, all these trouble started when Hollywood ran out of ideas in making good original movies hence the reboots, gazillion sequels, prequels, The Return of.., etc. etc. etc...
