Fresh and new to me is creating entirely new characters and having them grow into their own identity. I agree. This PC nonsense has to stop. As a comic geek you wait your whole life to see these characters brought to life and then these hollywood momo's pull this. Drives me nuts.

i didn't mind Depp as Tonto nearly as much because at least he was trying to fit the part, if this young man wants to wear makeup to actually attempt to resemble the character he is playing then i'll change my tune on him fitting the role

You are right on Depp. He was playing the part and under heavy makeup. Still though, for me, it didn't work.

Good point about Depp. I doubt this guy is gonna make himself up to be white though. Seriously though. Now they have to cast a black girl for Sue. Otherwise how retarded is that.
