Argh!!!! Certainly not the FF I know. Somehow it almost feels like FOX is giving Marvel the finger. They did it with Quicksilver and now with FF with a cast that doesn't match the comic. Again I don't blame the actors, but for crying out loud. As shocking and tragic as it sounds, looks like the preboot is the closest we will come to seeing the Fantastic Four on the big screen for the foreseeable future. Well rant over. I'm not going to threaten boycotting. Nothing I can do so will just need to see what happens and hope for the best.

To be honest the cast member I dislike the look of most is the guy playing Reed. Michael B. Jordan is a great actor and IF they INSIST on changing the traditional race of the character the should have had Sue played by an African American actress as well. The fact that Fox missed the "family" part of the FF, which to me is the groups core and most unique appeal, tells me this will be a passable disaster and FF in name only.

Same here. I hope it falls way short of what they spent to make it. Freaking idiots. FF4 is movie gold and very easy to get right. They've screwed it up twice and now this fiasco. The blueprint is already laid out on these awesome characters. Just respect and follow the source material. Simple as that. Why the F do these people feel the need to change things is beyond me. $#!$#!$%

It's not a rumor anymore, offers went out to 3 of the 4 cast members already...this IS the cast that is set...unless the actors don't take offers, which I do not see happening. Ben Grimm is the one that's not set in stone yet.
