I think the only way an Iron Man PF could be done is if they used some stainless steel pieces or something similar in the armor. Maybe the gold parts could be metal or something. If it is all polystone it would be another comiquette.

using metal would be the answer.

Yes, but that's just because all the characters done thus far contain some type of clothing! Just because IM doesn't have any fabrics doesn't mean that they cant do him in a PF! The IM Comiquette/Maquette is fine separtely, but it does not have a consistent look when put next to a PF. We also need a Ghost Rider PF, and a Wolverine PF, and a Magneto PF!

Exactly, and what would they do for Silver Surfer! He doesn't wear any clothes......

Don't get me wrong. I would love to see another Iron Man statue in any format. I just alway thought that the Sideshows Premium Format label meant Mixed Media Statues. Anything that was 100% polystone was a comiquette. Even the Robocop PF statue had some rubbery material to preserve the Mixed Media requirement. I would love to see an Iron Man PF with some real metal pieces but I don't think it has ever been done before and don't know the effect on cost.

Nope, definately not. Especially since those prices are off the roof. They need to make more so everyone who wants can afford an Iron Man.

I believe there will be many that disagree.
All the time Sideshow are focusing their attention on Iron Man, other characters are being ignored.

Real Material
I think what makes PF so different than the other statues is that they have clothing material. And I'm sure Sideshow people thought about this. So I'd say go with real metal or gold on it. Haha... That would be so cool and expensive. Nonetheless, it would make hell of an awesome Ironman statue.
