any collectors in chicago area?

i know a few but only few, i was wondering where u guys buy statues from? besides online.

like other post, not many stores stock statues anymore, mostly just comics, action figures, and dvds.

iam looking for a store with really cool statues, custom models, and import toys/statues, or Sideshow retailers.

i usually goto white wizard comics, but now they out of business.

any clues?

Theres some in my area but it would take you 12 hours and 40 minutes to drive here....

where u live?

iam from oak brook IL, i know few collectors here, and sometimes we meet up an trade stuff or buyin.

the other store i go to is alien entertainment. but they rarely has any custom models, or aliens predator stuff, mostly LOTR, and Dr who.

I live near philladelphia...the suburbs...Theres a few stores around me, They sell mostly sideshow & bowen and one in particular(wade's comic madness) has a lot of anime statues.

Have you heard of Graham Cracker comics? There are a bunch of stores around, most carry some comic related statues but nothing like the collection you have in your thread. Same with Dreamland comics in Schaumburg. White Wizard was a cool store that had what you wanted. There was also a store called J1Toy that dealt with alot of imports, but I heard they also closed.
Have you heard of Toynk.com? They got some cool stuff there. I heard they moved, they are now in Bensenville.

yes, i been those places, i check on the yellow pages, and i had search all of them, they carry most comics, and marvel statues, bowen, diamonds, i trade buch of mcfarlane figs with Graham Cracker comics long ago for store credits, but now no more trades, they stop order highend pieces, unless customers put deposit down, most of their stuff are from daimonds previews.

J1Toy & White Wizard is good place, but too bad they lost business (my connections lost)

tonyk is the only place i check out now, they carry some statues

iam looking for a store carries highend statues, import figs, or lifesizes props, similar to prop store of london or hobby link japan.

I also have been to Keith's komix in Schaumburg. They do carry alot of statues.

I don't know what exactly they carry (I saw some Star Wars, Marvel, DC, some import pvc's and figures) when I went Saturday. They have the right side of the wall dedicated to statues and figures. Give em a call and ask.
