after years of amassing statues and years of renovating this house im in now, i was finally able to complete my display room. most of these set ups are temporary as most are in a growing collection
next year ill be adding three more shelving units and that will be when the vision will really come into focus. i have some really fun displays planned i cant wait to see take shape
Fantastic Set up!!!!!!
That looks incredible and showcases a great looking collection. I love the mondo prints on the wall.
What is the shelving? Is it custom or did you create it? I think it looks very good.
thanks very much! yep i built the shelving units, the shelves are stained / sealed butcher block and the frames are built from 3/4" piping. cost wise theyre comparable to a pax unit but much more labor intensive

I am still impressed with the shelving so much. I have seen privately owned retail businesses use piping for shelving and it is a great look. Plus, it looks like you will not need to worry about the weight of the statues at all.
the fittings i used are made by steeltek (special order at lowes) they are held in place with set screws so you can make the shelves any height you want and can support at least 2000 lbs per shelf
