I can't help but feel the non-disclosure of scale is deliberate, it's either that or they are incompetant beyond belief.

I would like them to also firm up on delivery dates. They should be able round it down to the month not qtr.

I would say that it is just down to the webmaster adding that additional text. But there maybe an element of them not knowing the full specs on each character, ie their specified heights in the Marvel database. U would think that Marvel would provide an enormous amount of detail to these companies.

Yeah but it takes less than a minute for me to determine scale on any piece including looking it up on the online database on MU. So that's just lazy or incompetant :x

The one thing which makes the determination on scale difficult is depth perception. While it's easy to match the apple the proximity to the apple, the distance from front of the apple to the front of the face is inconsistent. For sure we can make educated guesses but without measuring the piece in person it's difficult.

Yeah the placement of the apple and the perspective of the photo makes the apple comparison somewhat unreliable.
Some apple shots are taken from slightly above while others are taken straight on.
That's plus the placement like you said makes it hard to determine scale.

Yeah, I just don't understand why they would try to hide something like that from customers?
It's weird.

Its most definitely deliberate.
Its easier for them to just say its "approximately such & such inches tall and such & such wide" than to commit to a specific scale. That way if a piece ends up being smaller (Punisher Comiquette) or larger (Mystique Comiquette) they can dodge unhappy customers and complaints without repercussion because everything was an "approximation" and the piece is technically "as advertised."
IMO its a disservice to their customer base and collectors need to stand up to this lazy and deceptive practice or it will continue. And yes I am calling them out as lazy because they make the effort with their PF's to insure they're all 1/4 scale so it CAN be done.
