I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

What did you spend on Statues in 2008

What did you spend on the hobby in 2008? Do you know?

I spent £1,369.74 ($1,991.18).

I bought the Sideshow Indy PF, some Batman Black & Whites, some Women of DC busts, and i'm including the Classic Marvel and DC Figurine collection in the figures (haven't been buying them all year).

This represents 8.25% of my net pay for the year (though I had extra income that I'm not including in this calculation). Is that good or bad?

No idea, but it was a LOT less than 2007.

Total purchases in kits and statues this year for me are about $60k

About $10k of that I've kept, the rest is resold. Last quarter was a HUGE slow down though and looks like first quarter will be the same.

I only got 1 Statue last year.
The SideShow Fantastic Four Diorama
Spend $330 Australian Dollars.

This was when Our Dollar was worth $0.96 US Dollars. Now our currency is like $0.65. So it hurts now

Averagely I spent $500~700 every month on this sort of stuff, that includes unpainted kits, paint, related tools and stuff...

It's been this same number for the past couple years.
