I personally wish Risara's doll hair stays because it's simply Shungo Yazawa's style, plus it adds so much more elegance, class & life to this already beautiful work, which I feel sculpted hair would take away.

Well, I guess it's just different view between Japanese and American figures/dolls.
In Japan, apparently these dolls are made so crazily expensive, and somehow hold higher value / status against pvc or even statue resins...
I'm not so crazy either about these dolls material, but some of them are really really nice.

ok that custom figure ended at 142,000 yen (1400-1500 usd)....
