DST Thanos vs. Bowen Thanos

I love the paint on the DST as well as the "jewels" on the gauntlet

the Sculpt for Bowen's is better....especially the face....gives him the evil look he needs

my vote goes to Bowen


I might just have to go to a hobby store and get some "jewels" and redo the Bowen version of the infinity gauntlet though

DST all the way for me. I picked up the Bowen Thanos Statue out of habit but is being sold as we speak. The DST wins (IMO) for a number of reasons:

1) Color is more accurate all the way around, from clothing to gems to skin color. Damn, the gems in the Bowen piece aren't even in the right order, and the yellow gem looks like the same color gold as the glove.
2) The pose, to me, is more iconic. Depending on which hand you have in, he's either killing off half the universe or "defending his divinity" against a group of cosmic entities
3) The sculpt is actually based off of someones art (George Perez) and they did a faithful representation of that art
4) The Scale is better. I would rather him be a little too small than WAY too big compared to my other statues (this only applies to Bowen statues, the Bowen Thanos is better scale for the HH Surfer)

For me, it's DST all the way.

I am a big Thanos fan and I prefer the DST version. I have one and also wanted to get the Bowen version. After seeing the Bowen in person, I didn't feel that I was missing out on it. It just didn't feel like Thanos to me...muscle definition, face, colors, painted Infinity Gems...it just looked cheap, but it wasn't!

thanks # 3 i thought they meant 3 bowens....so the dst bowen and HH ...cool...
