This was my favourite part of the interview with Mara:
Q: Do you like comics?
A: I've never been a fan of comics, I've never actually read one. I was going to for this movie but the director said it wasn't necessary. Well, actually he told us that we shouldn't do it because the plot won't be based on any history of anything already published. So I chose to follow his instructions. The one fact is I am a fan of comic book movies, so it's very exciting to be part of a movie like this.

WOW. if fans thought this was going to be an epic fail before.
i think this right here totally made that a reality.
i think the title to this thread should be changed .
FANTASTIC FAIL: the most blasphemic comic movie of ALL TIME.

if so. i hope you tear this guy a new one. and boo as loud as you can. and possibly see if you can gather all the F4 fans you can find that are against all that Trank the tank is doing and have them do the same.
man this is such BS!!!

It makes absolutely no sense.. if he's not going off of anything related to fantastic four he should just change the name of the movie/ characters into something completely different. Why even take this movie on in the first place?
I'm not even a fan of fantastic four but I feel for those who are. You wait how many years as it is for these movies and this is product you get?
