Foot in the door, I guess.
Either a license for this kind of product was easier to get initially, or they have data suggesting this could be worthwhile sales-wise in some way, or both.
Assuming they aren't trolling, with a bigger reveal planned imminently, establishing a relationship with a licensor like LFL/Disney is still a net positive. Y'all will just have to give it a lot more time.
