Maybe they didn't make replacements cause they thought it was going to be awesome and they didn't need any.
They'd be kidding themselves but maybe :P

Theory of the week
Prices aren't jacked up 50 bucks on everything now to cover production costs, they're jacked up 50 bucks to cover their ass on the back end due to the fact that they know QC sucks now. Their standard line is a 35 credit or 50 or so SS card. This way, they can afford to be sloppy, and just offset the credit loss by raising the price. AWESOME!

They're really pulling this "no replacements available" line and "we don't think a replacement would show an improvement" line a lot lately. They're essentially forcing you to take credit or a return. People better get used to it!

Maybe, though chances are their replacements have not so great visors too since it seems pretty comon, although it's far more noticeable in most cases.
The bad thing is that they probably know they're like that but they'll ship em out to someone who actually does have a broken piece and not a fail qc problem.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

My thought exactly
Ok removing the helmet bars wasn't too difficult.
They used little glue and It was removed easily.
The rig was another matter and I had to cut it appart with extra care.
Finally I removed every thing I could. It's time for repainting.

Whatever it is, I'm seriously doubting Sideshow's honor now. I used to think they were a class apart. Now they're evolving into just like any other crooked business out to grab money without delivering an adequate product. On top of that, it's the lies they feed their customers what gets to me the most.
Just come out and say, "oh, we skimped on a few bucks here and there but we're still jacking up the price, and we don't intend to send out anymore replacements in the future..". At least that's coming clean and I can accept that.
Honor in the business world is rare nowadays.

Their problem is that they grew too fast and got extremely greedy while pumping out way too many products over plenty of licenses. They take their customers for granted thinking that all of them are a bunch of suckers that keep coming back for more but it's definitely not true.
I would recommend they slow down on product releases and make sure that every single piece that is boxed up is closely inspected, shipping breakages are fine but crap paint jobs and messed up eyes are not acceptable.

yep.. thats it...
its just a shame that customers has to take a statue appart and repaint it.. it would be ok if I purchase it for $30-$50 ... but SSC is asking $350 !!!! I dont know but thats for me A LOT of money... and for that, I am expecting from a manufactured product perfect result or at least the same what they are selling it for ... the prototyp pictures
