The thing about the Bowen one 'Face on' it looks like the face was painted on not sculpted. I'm sure the side looks okay but the definition of the face is almost non-existent.

I give a very slight nod to the Bowen.

The only problem I have with the DST is the flag. I'm one of those who doesn't care for cloth mixed in with my sculpt. I think a sculpted flag would've looked much better.

I think the HH has by far the best face, but the pose seems awkward to me.

All three are very nice, though...

Since I created the poll, I guess I should at least answer the question.

The Bowen statue is how I imagine Captain America to be and to me symbolizes Bowens work, much like the Batman on Gargoyle sculpt that has been so popular after all these years.

The Diamond statue, although sculpted well, just didn't deliver to me the 9/11 message like it was trying to portray. It's okay, but I like to see Cap standing tall and proud in my sculpts.

The Hard Hero statue pose just ruins the sculpt. I also didn't like the flat shield, dark blue paint and huge plain base. This one's sticking around in my collection, just to keep the HH collection complete.

With that said, I can't wait for Randy's new Captain America statue!

I actually like the Bowen one the best overall but picked HH because of the richer colors, more dynamic pose and more detailed facial expression.

I, like most other people don't own a bronze Captain America statue, much less ever seen one in person. For that reason, I didn't include it in this poll. Remember, the poll only asks what are the best of the pictured statues, not what is the best ever statue. I'm limiting the choices to what most people collect, and that's full-size pre-painted statues. That's why you won't see any garage kits or bronze sculpts in these polls.

Besides, to be completely honest, if the Bowen bronze Cap was a pre-painted statue, I don't think it would be as good as any of these poll choices. Just imagine how the statues that are pictured in this thread would look if they were cast in bronze. As much as I would like to own one, I think the bronze statues are overrated and way overvalued. That's just my opinion of course.

I agree, the three you posted are all comparable in price and size - the bronze would skew the results.

BTW
