Yah but those are 1:5 scale. They need to post a released statue already in both 1:5 & 1:4 scale to determine a better scale.

I completely agree that scale should be disclosed as soon as you ask for my money. and get rid of those damn apples...show me the statue next to an already released piece (and no fooling around with depth please).

for example, how hard would it have been to show hobgoblin with green goblin. the question as to whether I would or would not purchase it would be instantly answered.

but it appears SS has their own view on collecting statues and could care less what their customers think...I wonder what their tune would be like if another manufacturer came onto the scene...that's what happens when you have a monopoly. at least there are custom statues out there to cater to some of us.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It takes a very selfish person to not realise that this is good for all collectors as a community.

What is wrong with having all information at order time. Will it be bad for you? No.

At this point, you are just arguing for arguments sake everyone has already shot down every issue you have come up with and pointed out to you that it is only fair for collectors to know what they are putting money down on.

Apples are not good measurements. Estimated production sizes are wrong.

We put money down as a deposit on preorder so scale information should be there.

So the question comes down to, do you help your fellow collectors with different views or be selfish and stand againt them in a very clear issue of full disclosure when you put money down.

Saying that you wipe your ass over other people's concerns is just a douche thing to say. But it looks as though that's what you're going for.

I admit I was a little saddened to hear something like that from a fellow board member. Whether or not I share the same taste or concerns as other collectors, I will at least not try to diminish their concerns especially when such a stand does not impact me negatively but helps them. I think we as collectors should stay united. Hopefully, I misinterpreted his stand.

To me there is no downside to having more size/scale with NRD for us collectors.

all for full disclosure-and as for the actual measurements being off, they've got a proto piece to take pics of-how hard can it be to break out a tape measure and go 'this is how tall it is'.
these are pieces that take months to get from start to a finished piece, there shouldn't be anything about them that Sideshow's salespeople don't know about in detail.
