Sideshow shouldn't overthink it. A pose like that with that costume is All. You. Need. To Do.
If you want to swap out the staff for his trademark sword then that's gravy too. And if SS really wants to turn back the clock, then throw in an unmasked Slade portrait too.
Done.

Yea, I am just looking forward to getting him as is. As I kinda started following his story along with the League of Assassins/Shadows from the Animated series with Ras Al Ghul, Talia and Damien, I am ok with the swords as I do plan on displaying him with the SS Robin Damien portrait/Katana, Custom Nightwing and hopefully custom Talia at some point.  I hope.

Yes, that cover was definitely made as a custom statue. While I liked the cover and the classic costume, it was penciled by Mike Zeck. Mike Zeck almost always drew his male characters as very muscular. Basically, all of them looked like bodybuilders. I've always liked Perez's version of Deathstroke. George drew him with a solid build, but also made Slade athletic looking. There's just something about George's Deathstroke that speaks to me.
