Busts are tough and honestly, I think they could have done better with 1/4 scale busts (if they could get that license). It would be less expensive and take up less space. Part of what made Bowen successful was that the busts were 1/6 scale and affordable to build a large collection. Larger 1/3 scale busts (while a good presence) will be harder to collect and that $300 price tag is going to go up pretty quickly IMO.

Chad mentioned going deep in this line but if the company still hasn't sold out a great looking Superman with a low edition size and reasonable price point, this line may be dead on arrival. Shame too. I want Tweeterhead to succeed (I just started collecting the Myths and Monsters line).

Definitely not dead on arrival. Less than 100 remain after less than 24 hours.

I think this looks decent enough for what it is, but I'm only collecting full body statues. Don't want an eventual Wonder Woman without her legs and a diagonal slice through her rear.

I may have been a little harsh but when a less popular character eventually goes up (at most likely a higher price because that is the trend in statues), it will be interesting to see how many they can sell. If Superman does not sell quickly, how are they going to sell 300 of Firestorm for example?

Playing devil's advocate, I guess having a new character is a positive so maybe the 300 will work. Will be interesting to chart this project overall.

I’m really digging this but as others have said I don’t want to start a line of busts… but it’s really sweet. I thought I’ll just grab Batman when he is up for preorder. Then the little voice of a collector says well if you’re going to get Batman for sure. Don’t you think Superman would be awesome next to him… oh dear I’m in a quandary. Dam you Tweeterhead..lol
My favorite Superheroes have always been Batman and Superman.. go figure

I wouldn't trust what your seeing if you plug in a random big number on the website. If Tweeterhead says they've sold 75%, I have no reason to doubt them.

Then by their numbers I expect at any moment for this to be sold out. Surely the remaining 25% is not that hard to move with such a blistering sales start.

Who knows but it will sellout .. subtract one more.. I preordered.
