Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I don’t really have much experience in the custom category other than one purchase from a now closed company and I felt like it was overpriced for the subpar paint job and not being licensed. Can I have some insight from the pros out there? Some of these 1:4 pieces are priced like 1:3 licensed pieces and come with $1000 NRDs…is this crazy or am I out of touch with this world?

Depends on the group. You gotta do research on past projects to see what the QC is like. I don't think there is such thing as a $1000 NRD on a custom 1/4 statue, but yes, a lot of 1/4 customs are in the $900-1300 range. The ES is usually much smaller than any licensed release. Most groups set the ES based on how many orders they get.

Holy moly I love that White and Black queen set. I have the older SS comiquette that has the cape, but that pales in comparison to this. I may have to be on the search for a better one to go with White Queen's first appearance comic book that I have.

I have the og comiquettes too, and still love those pieces LOL (though I had Emma customized). But yeah, still on the lookout for a true representation of the og looks in 1/4 form.

Are pics of customs allowed? I have a few. I'd love to share pics. However, I remember it being taboo to even note their existence on this forum.

Hi. The purpose of this thread was to show images of pieces you yourself have in hand,
rather than post pictures that are either not your own photo's or images of renders (nice render of Super Girl)

Agreed. It also avoids the whole "where can I get XYZ" which is still against the rules here.
