PITT - One of a Kind
I Bought it Few Years ago!!
Hey Dale Keown fans!!! This is an extremely collectible and ridiculously rare master painted prototype of the original Pitt Statue released by Moore Creations back in 1994 and sculpted by renowned artist Clayburn Moore and painted by his brother, master painter Paul F. Moore!!! Here's the story on this "one of a kind" piece...Two master painted prototypes were produced for the edition from the original master mold, one as a go-by for the factory to match the paintjob, and the other to be photographed and shown at shows to market the edition. This is that second and only remaining such prototype (the other got destroyed at the factory...they always do!!)!!! This 100% pure resin statue stands about 10.5 inches high and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Clayburn S. Moore!! However, it doesn't have a collectors box since it's a master production casting. Pieces like this don't come up for auction but once in a lifetime... the only remaining master prototype of this extraordinary Clayburn Moore statue!! ....

Here's the Bronze "Foundry Proof"
https://foundfa.com/product/pitt-and...layburn-moore/
According to the Director-
"This piece is actually not part of the numbered edition. It is the Foundry Proof or FP, which was used as a reference during manufacturing to maintain the integrity and continuity of the edition from start to finish. Traditionally in bronze sculpture, there is 1 AP or Artist Proof and 1 FP created in addition to the numbered pieces.
The piece is not painted, it is patinaed, which is a chemical oxidization of the surface of the bronze. It was done by the owner of Deep in the Heart Art Foundry, now called Pyrology Foundry & Studio, Clint Howard"

Nah man, it's all good, always nice when peeps use an existing thread rather than creating a duplicate, no matter how old the thread is...plus it gives me a chance to see older items I never knew about
