FanExpo Canada in Toronto

I'm making my first foray out east for a Convention this year, to attend FanExpo Canada in Toronto. Anybody else going? I've managed to set up a few pieces in advance, hope to set up more at the show. Artists I've already set up pieces with include Adi Granov, Tony Daniel, Esad Ribic, Keu Cha, Michael Dooney, and Matteo Scalera. Can't wait to see what they all come up with!

I couldn't contain myself to just one of his regular con pieces. After I saw that color Batwoman he did, I had to have something similar. Went in for an $800 full color bust shot of Valkyrie that he should be doing at home. Getting super anxious to see it! Almost went for a full body B&W piece, but I decided to save a bit more money for other artists, since there will be plenty there I haven't seen before.

Yeah, I'm down for the same thing. Looking forward to it also, the Granov is one of my grails. Fat chunk of change but worth it I think. Good call. Whens your con?

I will have a table (P80A) from August 23rd-26th at the FanExpo Canada Comic Convention in Toronto http://www.fanexpocanada.com/


I will be drawing on-the-spot ink commissions at the show. I will also have various inked 9"x12" original artwork for sale and some prints (11"x14" B&W & 11"x17" color).

Less than a week to go...getting super pumped! Should be completely broke until sometime next year, after this...lol. Upgraded from setting up a Matteo Scalera sketch, to getting a splash page (same character). Steve Epting and Dale Keown are tops on my list of artists to hit up at the show (not counting the artists I've already been able to set up).

I would love to go to this show one of these years but it is always scheduled around the same time as Baltimore.
