The only exception is that I do like the Barbarian painting a lot...but that is the only one out of all of Frazetta's Conan artworks that I really like.

I actually do like quite a lot of Frazetta's other art, from his Death Dealer stuff, all the way to his John Carter/Barsoom, Tarzan, and Vampirella work, and beyond, but his take on Conan just never worked for me as a Howard fan.

Likewise, even though I have a lot of Conan statues, I don't own Moore's Conqueror or ReelArt's Snow Giants for that very reason. They are great realisations of the art in question, and as such a must have for fans of the art, I'm just not a big enough fan of the art myself to own them. I would love to get a professionally painted Barbarian one day though, as that is all the Frazetta Conan I would ever need personally.
Perfectly said. I apologize to all that I offended with my words.

To me, this is the definitive LOOK of Conan! I just am not a fan of the Neanderthal type face of the Frazetta (although I do appreciate his art), nor of the look on the Conan the prize. To this day, when I think of Conan, this and the Arnie (for his great portrayal of the character) remain at the top of the heap.

I'm not saying this is the best Conan pose, but I think it is the perfect facial description of what Conan should look like.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

So I never hear much said about Quarantine's Conan. Is there no love for it? I thought it was a great pose and facial expression. But Sideshow still has it available for sale and it had a low number made. Sad.

honestly not sure what ARH did to you guys to create such strong bias. I have seen plenty statues both good & bad from all the brands including arh.

And their conan is one of the top statues in my book both in term of character portrait & sculpt/paint, it's unfortunate the brand is so hated on this forum but I love this statue. Oh well your loss as a barbarian fan for not having this.

There seems to be a small group of members on this forum with some type of personal vendetta against ARH. They engage in ceaseless unabashed bashing of ARH statues and the sculptor himself.
This type of behavior is against the rules of this forum. The mod Bulseye has been informed of this problem and asks that we report their posts so that proper sanctions and penalties can be dispensed.

I know nothing of the gripe with ARH or the sculptor but I wouldn't own that Barbarian, just not for me. Oddly enough I just today ordered a Moore bronze conan, a dream piece for me and the best representation of the character IMO. I will one day pick up a SS Arnie.

Apparently some of you newer noobs haven't even been around long enough to know the entire story behind the drama. You haven't read the posts from the producer that ended up getting him banned from the forum. The hatred is far from one sided. If you don't know the whole story, perhaps you shouldn't speak as though you are all knowing, because those of us that have been around and had sour dealings with the company know what has happened. This discussion doesn't even belong in this thread at all, so it's the last I'll speak of it. Before you know it, this thread will be shut down and that, my friends, would be a crying shame. Take ARH discussions where they belong.
