There's a lot of good in this statue but we always have high hopes and this statue isn't what we hoped for.

Pose and great but wished they'd nailed the body shape and inspirational portrait like they did with Call to Action.

That's why so many "guests" browse this forum. Companies/sculptors desire genuine feedback but other than praise feelings get hurt.

It's funny that the first cropped promo pic gave me pause, due to the implied velocity of the blast-off thrust, which did not seem to match Superman"s more relaxed pose/strut?

And with the stylized billowing base "clouds" looking like the supporting "fingers/hand of god", gives the impression that it's being sonically farted upon? But, from distance, and as a whole, more than acceptable.

As for the rest? Personal tastes it will test, as I've read some of the posts, and agree with most.

- Classic pose/flight is great, along with sculpted cape, but cape is too big/great. As is, not even a case for cape-gate, but worse. Drape-gate. Reduced by 20% would have been a better proportionally flowing blend.

- Anatomy is way to bulky-huge, as the K-bros are seemingly trying to channel Canale on steroids?! Superman physique has to be strong, elegant, and lean. Details, muscle groups are good, pity.

- As for portrait(?), strange indeed, as in some pics/angles he appears "hunk", & with others more "thug". A mystery that vexes/bugs.

- I don't know man, as I badly needed a Superman. I'll give it some time, as I do dig the concept, full sculpt, classic pose, the flight/height, but right now too many perceived frights.

P.S. If/when Sideshow finally releases another HULK, they better not fck-up. Cause after witnessing the perplexing pumped/bulk of Supes, if Hulk ever comes out skinny(?), I'll go absolutely fcking crazy!

Sideshow, Hulk ain't no mystery, just make him big, bad, and scary! With only SS top dogs working on the case, Bel, Canale, Harbottle, & a touch of Grassetti for some added grace.
Generic with a beautifully sculpted cape for some other figure. KBros KBro'd hard
